We took four residents out to eat at a local restaurant. PT was able to work on gait in the community with the appropriate assistive device; working on navigating in and out of obstacles. OT was able to work on feeding, mobility, planning and safety, wheelchair mobility on a variety of different surfaces, and navigating in and out of obstacles. ST targeted safety with navigating in the environment, planning, and task sequencing. The residents were still talking about how much fun they had on the outing, even a week after the trip.
